The agreement, in plain words

EchoDream is a personal dream journal that uses AI to generate symbolic analysis and imagery from text you provide. It is a tool for self-reflection. It is not a substitute for medical, psychological, or therapeutic care. If you are in distress, please contact a qualified professional or, if it is an emergency, your local emergency services.

You are responsible for keeping your password safe and for what happens on your account. You must be at least 16 years old to use EchoDream.

EchoDream is a tool for sincere personal reflection on dreams. You agree not to use it to submit or generate any of the following. This applies to the dream text you write, any prompt you provide, and any AI output you cause us to produce:

• Sexually explicit, pornographic, or NSFW content, including erotica, sexualized descriptions of real or fictional persons, or prompts designed to produce sexually suggestive imagery
• Any sexual content involving minors, real or fictional, in any form whatsoever — this is the most serious prohibition on this page and will result in immediate, permanent termination and a report to the appropriate authorities
• Content depicting non-consensual sexual acts, sexual violence, or sexual exploitation
• Graphic depictions of real-world violence, gore, self-harm, suicide methods, or content that incites or instructs violence
• Hate speech, harassment, threats, or content that demeans people based on protected characteristics
• Content that promotes terrorism, extremism, or organized criminal activity
• Content that infringes intellectual property, impersonates real people, or contains defamatory statements
• Personal data of others (real names, addresses, identifying information) used without consent
• Instructions for manufacturing weapons, drugs, malware, or for committing fraud
• Impersonating another person in community-shared content
• Attempts to reverse-engineer, scrape, overload, or otherwise abuse the service or its AI providers
• Content that violates the policies of our AI providers (Google Gemini) or our payments and compliance partner (Creem)

Image and prompt content is screened by our payments partner's content moderation service before it reaches the AI image model. Submissions that violate these rules will be refused. Repeated violations will result in suspension or permanent termination without refund.

You own the dreams you write. By using EchoDream you grant us the permissions strictly necessary to operate the service for you — store, process, transmit to the AI provider for analysis, and display back to you. If you choose to share a dream to the community feed, you grant other users a license to view and respond to that shared snapshot.

Analyses and images are generated by a third-party AI model and may be inaccurate, inconsistent, or unsuitable for any particular purpose. Treat them as creative interpretations, not diagnoses or factual statements.

EchoDream is provided "as is". We may add features, change features, or take the service offline for maintenance. If we make a change that meaningfully reduces what you can do with the service, we will try to give you notice.

You can delete your account at any time from the Profile page. We can suspend or close accounts that violate these terms or that put the service at risk.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, EchoDream is not liable for indirect or consequential damages, or for any decision you make based on AI-generated content.

If we change these terms, we will update the date at the top. Continued use after the update means you accept the new terms.
